Brewer is Set to Launch CBD Drinks in the U.S.

The global CBD-infused beverage market is expected to jump from about $89 million to more approx. $1.4 billion just over the next three years. By 2025, that number could soar to about $4.4 billion. All as industry heavyweights jump on the CBD-beverage bandwagon.

After all, “CB beverages are expected to replace other infused consumables, such as chocolates, cookies, brownies, and confectionaries like gummies and candies that are considered to be unhealthy. This factor is expected to boost the demand for CB drinks.”

Earlier this month, Truss CBD, a joint venture owend by Molson Coors Beverage Company along with HEXO Corp. announced the U.S. launch of VeryWell, a new line of non-alcoholic, sparkling CBD beverages.  “Last year, we redefined ourselves as Molson Coors Beverage Company and in doing so, laid out a clear vision of leveraging the competitive strengths of our storied foundation in beer to grow in new spaces beyond the beer aisle,” said Pete Marino, president of the emerging growth division for Molson Coors, as quoted in a company press release.
